Highlights |
With foliage not near peak in the Columbia River Gorge area, I traveled south on Highway 35 through the Mount Hood wilderness toward Bend to see Tumalo Falls and Cascade Lakes Scenic Highway. Mount Hood was definitely at or near peak. Colors from yellow to gold and red abounded. I stopped for a hike to Tamanawas Falls. This hike was not hard and quite pleasant with great sceneries and mostly in the shade along the creek. |
